While the numbers may vary in accordance with the unique characteristics of your bathroom space a standard toilet stall is 36 inches wide and 60 inches deep. Requiring enough internal clear floor space for a wheelchair to make a 180 turn accessible bathrooms must have either a 60 152 5 cm diameter turning circle or a t shaped turning space located within a 60 152 5 cm square with a minimum of 36 91 4 cm wide arms.

If the depth of a standard toilet stall is increased at least 3 in 75 mm then a floor mounted water closet may be used. Accessible stalls according to the ada should be a minimum of 60 inches wide and 56 inches deep if the toilets are mounted on the wall and there should be enough room within for a person in a wheelchair to move around unhindered.
